Boundary wall and gateways. c1865, by HE Coe of Cambridge for Sir Robert Harvey. Red brick with ashlar dressings. The wall borders the site to west and to south, enclosing the gardens. Plinth, flat coping, dice with ball finials. Gateway at north west corner has 2 square brick piers with cornices, and ball finials on volutes. Curved flanking walls topped with wouth iron railings and with similar piers and finials. No gates. Western wall runs south from the gateway approx. 70m, to square projections facing north and west, linked by a rounded corner. A branch runs east for approx. 35m, then turns south to a plain gateway adjoining the house. From this point, the wall is pierced, with X-shaped openings. Western wall continues approx. 70m to a larger square projection facing west, with a central rounded bay in line with the main axis of the garden. South of this approx. 70m, square projections facing west and south, linked by a rounded corner. Southern wall runs eastwards approx. 100m across the garden front of the house. At the east end, square projections facing south and east, linked by a rounded corner.
