Lodge house, early C19, on the west drive of Ickworth House. 2 storeys. Partly
rendered brick, fish scale slated roofs. 2-light casements with leaded lights
and moulded mullions. Single storey entrance porch at each gable end, open on
brick piers, gabled on 3 sides with fishscale slated roofs. Boarded entrance
doors. Deeply projecting eaves with dentil course carried around gable and up
verge to form pediment. Oversailing gables have barge boards with pierced
lobes, repeated at porch gables.
