5/110 Clock Tower 350 yards north east of Westcroft Park

II

Bell tower. Circa 1910, for H.O. Serpell. Timber framed with herringbone brick infill pyramidal plain tiled roof under metal finial. Square tower with deep eaves and hip roof louvred openings to main roof. Open bellchamber to top containing carillon of 25 bells. Clock face below. Two-light wood framed, diamond pane leaded casement window to entre of tower section with flanking pentice roofs to sides. Central arched plank door to ground floor, arched openings to either side. At base of tower on return fronts are jettied gables.
