8/126 Barn, Circa 230 yards north west of 2.2.79. Wanborough Manor
II
Hand threshing barn. Early C18. Timber framed with weatherboard cladding on rubblestone and brick plinth; outshut to south side with squared clunch wall and brick piers. Plan tiled roof, half-hipped to east end, extending in catslide to south. 3 framed bays with central opposing entrances, north entrance with hood and double board doors, south entrance under projecting, hipped, roof. hayloft door in west gable.
Interior: Queen-strut collar and tie beam trusses, braced ties, and double butt purlins, tenoned in staggered sections. Derelict at time of resurvey.
