II
House, now divided. Mid C16 to rear left, C17 refronting and additions, extended to rear in C20. Timber framed, exposed on left hand return front with brick infill, brick cladding with some blue headers to front. Plain tiled roofs. L shaped plan with entrance front to Whites Farm (main front) at right angles to street. 2 storeys, 4 framed bays to front, 2 framed bays to rear wing. Large, central, corbelled stack to front, further stack to rear. Regular facade with two 3-light cambered head casement windows on tiled cills to both floors. Central projecting gabled porch with plat band over ground floor and to base of gable. Arched entrance. Sundial and casement window on first floor "1670" picked out in flint work in gable. Old oak door.
Right hand return front: framing visible.
Left hand return front (street elevation): framing visible some tile hung. C20 extension to left end. Glazed door to left (North Cottage).
