2. An L-shaped house of circa 1700 added to a mediaeval house of which only one bay remains, at back. The front house is of rubble stone with red brick dressings, but facade is tile hung on 1st floor and rendered below. 2 storeys, 2 windows. High pitched hipped tiled roof. Windows altered to modern casements and a small bowed shop window, all with glazing bars. At right a 4-panel door with bracketed flat hood. Mediaeval part is the solar end of a hall house. Dais beam now visible externally and the beam end of later inserted hall ceiling. This part has a collar-purlin roof.
