NEWDIGATE C.P. RUSPER ROAD TQ 23NW 12/185 Marelands II

House. C16, extended to ends in C18 and C20, added to rear in C19. Timber framed on rendered plinth with brick infill of varying dates, some red, some brown and some blue headers. Hipped plain tiled roofs. Two storeys, four framed bays, oldest to centre. Diagonal C18 bracing to left. Massive ribbed and corbelled stack to right of centre in one bay, front stack to left of centre. One 3-light window to first floor centre, one 5-light square-pane window to ground floor below, under drip hoard. Door to right of centre in shallow, brick, pentice-roofed porch. Left hand return front:- Tile hung, some in fishscale pattern. One square-pane first floor window, one ground floor window below under drip board. C19 wing at rear with end stack and weatherboarded pentice. 1 through-eaves dormer above.
