House, with added cottage, now all one dwelling. Probably C17, rebuilt in mid C18 (date inscribed on bricks at 1st floor), and cottage added. Red brick in Flemish bond, red tile roof. Formerly 2-unit single-depth plan, with 3rd unit added at right-hand end and lean-to addition to rear. Two storeys and 3 bays; vertical joint between 2nd and 3rd bays; doorway to the left of this joint and close to it, with pegged wooden doorcase, board door, and modern open porch; this part has 3 segmental-headed 2-light casements at ground floor, two 2-light casements at 1st floor, and 2 bricks in the centre inscribed "LM. 1746". The addition to the right has a large 3-light casement on each floor. Gable chimneys. The rear lean-to has 2 external chimneys on its rear wall. Interior: rebuilt rectangular fireplace with original salt-recess; large tie-beam in 1st bay, and one windbrace visible in 2nd bay.
