3 houses. c1830. Brick in Flemish bond with painted stucco
dressings forming architraves to all openings (those to the
windows are moulded). Stucco moulded cornice and parapet
continuous over the trio, the centre third being treated as a
shallow pediment to give a sense of grandeur to the modest
group. Roof parapeted.
Each 3 storeys and 2 windows. Stucco sill band to 1st-floor
windows. Spacing of ground-floor openings is different to that
of the upper-floor openings. Entrance to No.201 to left party
wall, the rest to the right. Each ground-floor opening
enriched by the addition of a decorative lintel frieze
(wreaths framing rosettes to the doors and rosettes to the
windows) and one flush pediment. Sashes of an authentic 6x6
design to all windows except for the ground-floor and
2nd-floor windows of No.201.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: cast-iron front garden railings.
