12 houses. c1842. Brown brick; low pitched, hipped slate roofs with deep eaves soffit and paired brackets resting on flat pilaster strips between houses to Nos 236-252; stucco cornice and blocking course to Nos 230-234. All houses are 3 storeys and basement, 2 bays (except No.230 which is 1 bay only). Steps to doors, those to Nos 230-234 with moulded stucco architraves, those to Nos 236-252 with segmental brick arches. No.252 has curved steps and railing to stucco Doric porch (in which door is set at angle) on canted return to County Grove; No.230 has entrance in 1-storey extension to right. Flat, gauged-brick arches to sash windows, mostly with glazing bars. Stucco band at 1st-floor sills and similar band at ground floor to Nos 236-252. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: cast-iron step and area railings to Nos 230-242 and 246-252. Nos 230-252 (even) and Nos 2-4 (consec) County Grove (qv) form a group.
