Parsonage, now bank. Early C19, refronted early C20 for the
London and South-Western Bank. Ashlar stone. 3 storeys and
basements. Double-fronted with 5 windows following the
fenestration arrangement of the original building. Baroque
style. Projecting portico with fluted pilasters, entablature
and broken, scrolled pediment with reclining supporters
carrying a coat of arms extending into a segmental pediment;
stone balls on pedestals at angles. Architraved C20 windows:
1st floor with broken scrolled pediments having central fluted
features with triangular pediments and a continuous stone
balustraded balcony on large brackets which flank the ground
floor windows: 2nd floor with scrolled keystones alternate
with enriched carved panels. Projecting dentil cornice and
balustrade with dies surmounted by urns apart from penultimate
bays with scrolled pediments. INTERIOR: banking hall entirely
refitted in late C20.
