Pair of semi-detached houses. 1907. By CHB Quennell. Red
brick. Tiled hipped roof with gables to front bays, dormers,
tall brick chimney-stacks and overhanging eaves with painted
timber bracketed soffit. Symmetrically designed pair.
2 storeys and attics. 3 windows each. Outer bays form porches
at ground floor level with wide round-arched entrances having
keystones and impost bands; recessed doorways with panelled
door, sidelights and overlights; 1st floor flush framed sash
with exposed boxing. Projecting gabled penultimate bays with
canted bowed bays of 4 sashes through ground and 1st floors;
eaves soffit continues around 1st floor; gables with relieving
arches and rectangular windows with chamfered angles. 1st
floors with rusticated brick quoins and modillion floor bands.
Central bays have tripartite sashes to ground and 1st floors,
ground floors with gauged brick flat arches and keystones.
