Garden walls to former Police Station and County Court, now
Coroner's Courthouse (qv). 1902 by HC Scaping for Lindsey
County Court. Red brick with composite stone dressings.
Edwardian Freestyle.
Section to Brighowgate has dwarf wall with plinth and moulded
coping with stumps of iron railings, and rusticated
square-section corner piers with stone bands, cornice and cap.
Adjoining section of wall along side-road to right has similar
dwarf wall and a plain entrance with a wooden gate. Adjoining
section of wall to far left, along north boundary, has panels
of coped walling ramped up between 6 square piers with moulded
caps.
Now serves as wall to front garden of No.36 Brighowgate (not
included).
Included for group value as part of a group with the Coroner's
Courthouse and its garden wall (qv).
