Celtic cross monument. Early C20, to Harriet Mary Gott July 21st 1835 to April l9th 1906 and to John Gott, 3rd Bishop of Truro, born Christmas Day 1830 and laid to rest July 21st 1906 (his wife's birthday). Dressed granite. Carved wheel-head cross on a tall tapered rectangular-on-plan shaft set in a stepped square base. The shaft is divided into panels with strapwork to 2 of the panels to each side and 2 with relief carving of an angel and another figure. Bishop Gott lived at Trenython (qv). A fine example of Celtic Revival.
