Terrace of 8 houses. Dated 1818 on rainwater head of No.6;
altered. White painted scored stucco, slate roof with red
ridge tiles, rendered chimneys. Double-depth plan, each house
single-fronted, built in halls-adjoining pairs with coupled
back extensions.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; regular 16-window range. Narrow
round-headed doorways arranged in pairs, mostly with panelled
doors up one step and fanlights with radiating glazing bars or
metal tracery, and those at Nos 6 & 8 with fluted pilasters
and cornices on consoles; windows above the doorways likewise
in pairs, with 6/6 sashes (except at Nos 6, 10, 12, 16 & 18
which have altered glazing); and full-height flat-roofed
canted bay windows, those at Nos 14 & 18 with 8/8 and 6/6
sashes respectively but all the others with altered glazing
(No.6 all casements, with Art Deco leading). Roof hipped at
left end, with 3 ridge chimneys.
