Villa, now 3 dwellings. c1824 (perhaps enlarging and
remodelling Willow Cottage which was occupied in 1798);
extended by addition of No.2A to the right in 1924, altered in
C20. White painted stucco with stone quoins painted black,
hipped slate roofs. Irregular plan formed by double-depth
double-fronted main range with set-back wing to left, C20
addition to right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2:3:2 windows. The 3-window main range
has an open-pedimented centre breaking forwards, a large
full-width canted bay window at ground floor with 2:3:2
Tudor-arched lights, and a 3-light window in similar style
above, with a hoodmould. The outer bays have matching 3-light
windows at first floor and altered windows below these (that
to the left with altered glazing and that to the right now a
French window).
The set-back wing to the left has a glazed porch in the angle,
a small 2-light window above this, a large 4-light window to
the left and a 3-light window above that (all these in
matching style).
The 1924 addition to the right is in matching style except for
a recessed porch with a pair of set-in Tuscan columns.
