Pair of villas, now flats. c1842-5, slightly altered. Scored
stucco, slate roof. "Regency" Tudor style. Double-depth plan,
each house double-fronted.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3 plus 3 windows. Each house symmetrical.
Each has a small Tudor-arched porch in the centre with a
cornice and embattled parapet with corner pinnacles,
protecting a door with 2 Tudor-arched glazed panels and an
overlight with Tudor-arched glazing bars; above the porch a
narrow 2-light window with a hoodmould, and to each side a
shallow canted 2-storey bay window with narrow Tudor-arched
lights to both floors and the upper with transoms. Roof with
oversailing eaves and verges, ridge chimney at junction and
gable chimneys at both ends.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with No.19 to the left (qv) and Nos 27 & 29 to the
right (qv).
