Row of 3 houses. Probably C18; altered. Mostly white painted
render (No.6 roughcast), slate roof on 3 levels, that to the
central portion graduated. Long single-depth range in 3
portions: a central range of 3 units, of which the centre and
right are No.8 and the left part of No.10, and one-unit
portions at the ends, that to the right being No.6.
EXTERIOR: one and 2 storeys, with roofs stepping down from
right to left. No.6 to the right: 2 storeys; single-window
range. Main range of one storey; 3-window range. Left portion
of No.10 is a single-storey; 2-window range.
No.6 has a lean-to porch to the left (with doorway in
right-hand side and altered window to the front), a 3-light
casement at ground floor, a small-paned 2-light sliding sash
above, and a gable chimney to the right.
No.8 has a square-headed doorway to the left (protected by a
small C20 metal-framed porch), 2 3-light casement windows, and
a ridge chimney.
No.10, slightly set back, has a doorway and a 3-light casement
in the higher portion, a 3-light sliding sash and a 2-light
casement in the lower portion to the left and a gable chimney
to this.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a group with No.2 to the right (qv), and No.14 to the
left (qv).
