699-1/5/131 Lock Keepers' Office 3m east of the
Hydraulic Accumulator Tower
GV II
Lock keepers' office. 1849-52 for Grimsby Dock Company. Red
brick in English bond with slate roof. Octagonal on plan,
single room with entrance lobby to north-west.
EXTERIOR: single storey. Plain door. Single windows to 3
adjacent southern sides and to north-east side, all with 4
panes and stone sills beneath cambered brick arches.
Low-pitched roof with overhanging eaves.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Stands beside the Hydraulic Accumulator Tower (qv),
overlooking the locks to the Royal Dock and the Dock Tower
(qv).
