Terraced houses. 1807-18. Stucco, roofs of slate so far as
visible.
4 storeys over basement, Nos 30-31 with dormers, one-window
range. The ground-floor entrance and windows are flanked by
Greek Doric pilasters with rosettes to the neck, supporting a
frieze with triglyphs and bucrania. Flat-arched entrance with
overlight and panelled doors of original design. Segmental
bays to ground, first, second and third floors, offset to the
right above the ground floor. All windows flat-arched and
tripartite. Those to the ground floor are flanked by fluted
pilasters, with rosettes to the neck on Nos 28-29. First-floor
balconies with cast-iron railings and canopies over; the upper
floors rusticated and the bays flanked by giant pilasters with
guilloche ornaments to the neck; sashes of original design to
No.28 and ground floor of No.29; cornice, interrupted by bay
on No.28; blocking course; dormers in mansard roof; stacks to
party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron railings to steps and area with spearhead finials.
