Terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco, roofs of slate.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys over basement, with dormers, one-window
range except No.38 which has 2 windows. Nos 34 and 35 have
flat-arched entrances with overlight, and No.34 a panelled
door of original design; the entrance to No.36 has been
altered to a window; Nos 37 and 39 have pointed-arched
entrances, No.37 with decorative glazing to the fanlight;
No.38 has a round-arched entrance with fanlight, flanked by
fluted pilasters with a wreath over the arch and panelled
doors of original design.
All the houses have full-height bays with flat-arched and
tripartite windows which are offset to the right on the upper
floors except on No.34; they are all segmental to the ground
floor and canted above, except No.38 which is canted
throughout; bracketed verandahs to first floor with cast-iron
railings; giant pilasters to first and second floors on Nos 34
to former No.36, though missing in part on No.34; No.39 has
recessed rectangular panels to the first and second floors,
missing in part; cornice above second floor except for No.37
which has panelling on the spandrels of the bay and a
bracketed sill band; secondary cornice and blocking course to
third floor; dormers in mansard roof; stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron railings to steps and area with spearhead and other
finials.
