House. c1820. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
4 storeys over half-basement, 5-window range and
double-fronted. Steps up to porch with Greek Doric columns
distyle in antis, cornice and blocking course; flat-arched
entrance with overlight. All windows flat-arched and now
without any mouldings. Bracketed balcony with cast-iron
railings to first floor. Dentil cornice over second floor;
secondary cornice and parapet; side stacks. The house has been
extended either side: with a single-storey wing to the right,
and, to the left, with a narrow 2-storey wing and a broader
single-storey wing, with cast-iron railings to parapet, all
detailed as for the original building.
INTERIOR: not inspected. High stucco garden walls with square
corniced gate piers.
