Terraced houses. Early C19. Stucco, roofs obscured by parapet.
4 storeys over basement, 3-window range. The house fronts are
full-height, and almost full-width, segmental bays. Basement
and ground floor decorated with rustication. Shared central
porch of Doric columns supporting entablature with triglyph
frieze, mutule cornice and blocking course; round-arched
entrance with fanlight; all windows flat-arched; those to
upper floors with architraves, the first-floor windows having
a pediment to the centre and floating cornices to the outer
windows, and cast-iron brackets only surviving from
first-floor balconies; storey band between second and third
floors; central third-floor windows blind; 6/6 sashes of
original design to second and third floors of No.29; dentil
cornice and parapet with balustraded panels, the balustrading
missing on No.29.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
