Terraced house. c1822-30. Probably by Amon Wilds and Charles
Augustine Busby. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
3 storeys over half-basement with attic added, 3-window range,
double-fronted. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with
pilasters, garlanded frieze and cornice; recessed doorcase
with pilaster jambs and overlight; ground floor decorated with
banded rustication ending in an enriched frieze. 3-storey
segmental bays to either side carried over canted bays at
basement level; flat-arched triplet windows to all floors,
those to ground floor having plain mullions, those to upper
floors having fasces as mullions; central flat-arched windows
to both upper floors. Enriched frieze over first-floor
windows; moulded cornice above second floor; parapet; studio
attic to left added, blank front to Norfolk Road.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Square corniced piers to area with the remains of cast-iron
decorative panels and railings between them.
