Terraced houses, probably 6 in number, now a hotel. c1851.
Stucco, roof of slate.
5 storeys over basement, with dormers, 3-window range. The
house fronts consist of full-height, and almost full-width,
segmental bays. Ground-floor openings stripped of almost all
mouldings and in places altered. First- and second-floor
windows flat-arched, some blocked; the first-floor windows
have eared architraves in which the moulding runs up into a
pediment, the tympanum filled with moulded floral ornament;
first-floor balconies with slim pedimented piers and cast-iron
railings with quatrefoil ornament; the second-floor windows
have bracketed sills and eared architraves in which the
moulding runs up into a segmental pediment; the third-floor
windows are basket-arched, with bracketed sills but no
architrave; dentil cornice and blocking course, renewed c1990.
