Flemish bond; mathematical tiles to bay spandrels; stucco to
ground floor. 2-span roof of tile, the roof of No.13 obscured
by parapet.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. 2 windows each. Each unit has a
flat-arched entrance with overlight, which is framed by Tuscan
pilasters; capitals to No.13 have been removed. No.11 has, in
addition, a half pilaster at left party wall. There is a
continuous entablature to ground floors. Below this banded,
chamfered rustication pierced by one flat-arched window each.
The ground-floor cornice advances to form soffit for one
2-storey bay on each unit. The bays to Nos 11 and 12 are
segmental with tripartite, flat-arched windows; those to No.12
with sashes of an original design: 6/6 to centre windows and
4/4 to sides. This same unit has a window range to the right
of the bay, over the entrance; the first-floor window is
camber arched and the second has 4/4 sashes of original
design. The bay to No.13 is rectangular in plan and was
rebuilt in the late C19 or early C20.
