entrance to Church of St George

II

2 gas standards. Early to mid C19 design, a matching pair
framing the west entrance to St George's Church, St George's
Road (qv). Cast-iron. Fluted and tapering shaft rises from
cushion base to basket capital; just below capital, yoke
maintenance arm. Windsor-type lamp with original supports,
cage, and ventilator cap.
