Terraced houses. Of mid- or late C19 date. Coursed flint with
red brick dressings, roof of tiles.
2 storeys, 2 windows each. Flat-arched entrances in added
porches with hipped roofs, except for No.10 which has an open
gabled porch in right-hand return. Red-brick quoins to sides.
Ground-floor windows segmental-arched, first-floor
cambered-arched, both with horizontal sliding sashes; brick
dentil cornice; shared ridge stacks with oversailing courses.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Most of the houses in Stanmer Park were severely damaged by
military occupation during the Second World War, and restored
after the estate was acquired by Brighton Corporation in 1947.
