Villa, now flats. c1831, with later additions and alterations
including later-C19 extension to side and mid-late C20
alterations to fenestration. By William Thomas. Pinkish-brown
brick with painted stucco front facade and Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows, with narrow, single-storey
bay to left. Entrance to left return a 6-panel door with
blocked, rounded overlight within recessed arched surround.
Front (garden) facade. Horizontal rustication. French
casements. Tall, unequally-hung plate glass sash. First floor
band supports 3 pairs of Ionic pilasters. 1/1 sashes. Frieze,
dentil cornice. Blocking course, continues to left side. End
stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Beauchamp Avenue was laid out as Beauchamp
Terrace c1828.
Forms a group with No.49 (qv).
