House, now offices and flats. c1818-1828 with later
alterations. Reddish-brown brick with painted stucco to front
and side facades, Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Chamfered plinth. 2 steps to
central entrance a 4-panel door with overlight within distyle
Doric porch with frieze, cornice and blocking course. 6/6
sashes with sills throughout, and in tooled surrounds to
ground floor. Hipped roof, end and rear stacks. To left
return, ground floor are 2 canted bays with 12-pane between
6-pane casements and pilaster strips between. First floor has
two 6/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: central dogleg staircase with stick balusters,
wreathed handrail; shutters to left.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Brunswick Street was marked out by 1818 and
built along by 1828.
