2 houses, now shops and flats. Numbered right to left,
described left to right. c1818 with later additions and
alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco facade,
Welsh slate roofs and cast-iron balconies.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. First floor:
8-pane French windows with margin-lights and divided
overlights, that to left has blocked lower panes and that to
right is blind. Second floor: 4/8 sash and replacement C20
window. Eaves band. Ground floor: pair of central entrances,
plank and part-glazed doors with overlights, that to right
with glazing-bars, in shared doorcase with Tuscan pilasters,
frieze and hood.
Shop front with triple window with pilasters between and
overlights with glazing-bars, glazed central double doors,
frieze, dentil cornice. Otherwise wide window in architrave of
Tuscan pilaster strips and frieze with C20 glazing. All
windows in plain reveals. Tall end stacks with cornices.
Individual balcony to first-floor right window with oval,
lattice and s-scroll motif.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a group with No.66 (qv). Included for group value.
