House and shop, now house. c1840-1850 with later additions and
alterations. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with Welsh
slate roof. Neo-Tudor style.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows.
Ground floor: 2 entrances with bay window between and
continuous canopied porch on carved posts. To left, a
pointed-arched door with linen-fold panelling and cusped
lights with shaped overlight with 4 cusped lights. Carved
floral motifs to spandrels.
To right, a 9-panel door, 6 with linen-fold panelling, 3
glazed and with tracery, chamfered surround with hoodmould.
Window has centre of 4 mullion and transom lights with 2
lights to sides.
First floor: gable end to left has tall projecting window with
casements and tracery to head and sides within quoined
surrounds. Narrow light to gable. To right are two 3-pane
casements with decorated traceried surrounds. Ornate
bargeboards to gable. 2 pairs of diamond-shaped side stacks.
Decorative ridge tiles.
INTERIOR has openwell Neo-Tudor staircase.
