GV II

House, now dental surgery and attached railings. 1828-1836
with later additions and alterations including later C19 bay
windows. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco front facade,
Welsh slate roof and cast-iron railings.
2 storeys with attics, 3 first-floor windows. To ends are
full-height panelled pilasters, plain frieze, cornice, low
parapet conceals attic dormers. First floor: blind opening to
centre, otherwise two 6/6 sashes in moulded surrounds, all
with plain reveals and sills. Ground floor: central entrance,
6 steps to board door in tooled surround with pediment. Canted
bays each have three 1/1 sashes, frieze, cornice. End stacks
with cornice to left.
INTERIOR: dog-leg staircase with stick balusters to rear,
right. Remains of cornices to ground floor.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to sides of steps and abutting
to left have bars with ornate spear-head finials.
