Pair of houses, now shops with flats. Numbered right to left,
described left to right. Early C19 with later additions and
alterations. Reddish-brown brick with unpainted stucco facades
and Welsh slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys, 4 first-floor windows. Tall pilasters
between first and second windows and to right end from first
floor to eaves, that to right with Ionic capital.
First floor has three 6/6 sashes; tripartite window a 6/6
between 2/2 sashes. Second floor band, 1/1 sash and three 6/6
sashes. Third floor has four 3/6 sashes. All with sills and in
plain reveals.
Ground floor: left entrances to each house, that to extreme
left in plain surround now blocked and with casement window;
otherwise 2 roll-edged steps to 6-fielded-panel door with
overlight with glazing bars in double-chamfered surround and
with plain architrave.
To left a part-boarded canted bay. To right a shop front with
canted bay and glazed entrance.
Frieze, moulded cornice and blocking course continues to right
return. Hipped roof. Tall rear stacks with cornices.
Right return of 3 first-floor windows.
Windows to left are blind, those to ground floor are boarded.
Otherwise first and second floors have 6/6 sashes and third
floor has 3/6 sashes. All in plain reveals and with sills.
