House, now shops with offices over and attached railings.
c1826 with later alterations including extensions to rear and
mid-late C20 shop fronts. Reddish-brown brick with scored and
painted stucco facades to front and sides, Welsh slate roof
and cast-iron balcony and railings.
3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First floor has three
10-pane French windows. Second floor has three 3/6 sashes in
plain reveals and with sills. Ground floor, entrances: central
entrance to left, 6 roll-edged steps to 4-panel door with
side-lights and reeded pilasters between, modillion cornice,
cambered overlight with Gothic glazing. Otherwise 2 entrances
in glazed shop front. Frieze, cornice and low parapet
continues to side. End, rear and ridge stacks. Balcony to
right has double-heart-and-circle motif. Left return has 6/6
and 3/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to sides of steps have anthemion
and fleur-de-lys finials.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Warwick Street was laid out in 1822-1826.
