2 houses, now shops with flats and offices over. c1822-26 with
later additions and alterations including mid-late C20
ground-floor shop fronts. Reddish-brown brick with unpainted
stucco front facade and Welsh slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys 5-window range. From first through second
floors are plain pilasters to left, between 1st. and 2nd.,
2nd. and 3rd., and 3rd. and 4th. windows, surmounted by
frieze; above these to 3rd. floor are remains of pilasters
with Tuscan capitals projecting from continuous cornice,
blocking course, copings. First floor: 6/6 sashes; second
floor 3/6 sashes all in plain reveals and with sills.
Third floor: 3/3 sashes in plain reveals.
Ground floor, end entrances, to left: step to 2-panel door
with overlight; to right: 2 steps to 3-panel door with
overlight and door-knocker, a wreath with hand.
Otherwise 2 part-glazed entrances with overlights within
projecting glazed shop-front, chamfered in towards entrances.
Ridge stack with cornice.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Warwick Street was laid out c1822-26.
