Villa, now office and flats. Early-mid C19 with later
alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco facade
and Welsh slate roof. Set at an angle to the road.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with basement to rear, 3 first-floor
windows. First floor: 6/6 sashes in plain reveals and with
sills. Ground floor: central entrance, steps to 4-panel door
in distyle Doric porch, now glazed in. To left a canted bay
with 1/1 sashes with horns, in double-chamfered reveals and
with sills. To right, step to tall casement with overlight
with glazing-bars in tooled architrave. Hipped roof. Tall roof
and end stacks with cornices. Right return has 2 first-floor
windows. 6/6 sashes throughout, those to ground floor with
tooled architraves. 5 steps to 3-panel, part-glazed door with
divided overlight. To rear a staircase window, 4/6 sash with
margin-lights; 6/6 sashes and 8/8 sashes to basement.
INTERIOR: dogleg staircase with stick balusters and wreathed
handrail. Gothic fireplace to ground floor, right room;
Regency fireplace to left. 4-panel doors and deep skirting
boards.
