TQ3602SE HIGH STREET, Rottingdean 577-1/62/1054 (West side) 20/08/71 Nos.1, 2 and 3 Margo's Mews (Formerly Listed as: HIGH STREET, Rottingdean Nos 75 & 77 & The Sally Lunn Cafe (Bunkers Row))


Terraced cottages. Probably late C18 or early C19. Flint with brick dressings, roof of tiles. 2 storeys with dormers in attic, Nos 1 and 3 two windows, No.2 three windows. Brick quoins to No.1 and end of No.3; flat-arched entrances, the details possibly altered. All windows have brick dressings except that over the entrance to No.2, and all are flat- arched except that to ground floor of No.1. Two late C20 dormers to No.2 and No.3, wall with ridges running into the main ridge; stacks to party walls; flat-arched entrance and windows to right-hand return. INTERIOR: not inspected. These houses were originally known as Bunkers Row.
