House. Late C18 or early C19. Stucco scored to imitate
ashlaring; return of brick and flint. Hipped roof of tile.
2 storeys over basement. One-window range. Flat-arched
entrance to shop front which takes up entire ground floor.
Parts of this front date to the C19. All openings, including
he loading bay on the first floor, are flat arched.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
This building forms a most important group with Nos 1-12,
22-32, and 36-40 Meeting House Lane (qv), which is the centre
of the section of the Old Town known as the Lanes.
