18/03/97 at NGR SP 260 566, to north of park
GV II
Dam with cascade attached to small bridge by retaining walls
to stream. C16 redesigned in C19. Brick and ashlar. Ashlar
bridge has low parapets over segmental arch. Stone retaining
walls approx 11m long join bridge to cascade, which is of
brick with stone side walls with brick returns. Altered in C19
when carp replaced by trout. Property of the National Trust.
