House. Early to mid C18 with later alterations. Roughcast;
steeply pitched old tile roof with brick end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; 4-window range. Entrance to
left of centre has architrave and overlight with decorative
glazing bars to 6-panel door (4 panels glazed, 2 fielded) and
bootscraper; window to right has 16-pane fixed glazing; both
under hipped canopy on 3 timber posts. End canted bay windows
have panelled pilasters and entablatures over small-paned
glazing; first floor has narrow windows with sills and
pebbledashed key blocks over 6/6 sashes. Gabled roof dormers
with 2-light casements.
C19 single-storey brick wing to left has slate roof; garage
door with gabled pitching hole over and small segmental-headed
window to right; shop window and segmental-headed entrance to
right end.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: canopy flanked by iron area railings with
decorative heads.
