House, now 2 houses. Early to mid C18 with early C19 rear wing
and C20 and earlier alterations. Roughcast with brick rear
wing; steeply pitched old tile roof with brick coping and some
renewal at eaves, and slate to rear wing; brick end stack and
cross-axial stack, lateral stack to wing. 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Top cogged
brick cornice. Entrance to left of centre has C20 door. Ground
floor has 2 windows with 3-light small-paned casements and
window to right with 4/8 sash; first floor has windows with
3-light small-paned casements, that to right with iron opening
casement; attic has 3 gabled roof dormers, 2 with 2-light
small-paned casements. Right return has C20 casement and C20
door.
Rear wing: 3 storeys; 2-window range; wide eaves and verges;
most windows have 2-light small-paned casements; ground floor
has segmental-headed window to left of canted bay window with
hipped roof over small-paned glazing; first floor has
segmental-headed windows. Varied fenestration to right return
of wing, some small-paned glazing.
