2 houses, now single house. Late C17 or early C18 with C20
alterations and additions. Coursed dressed blue lias limestone
with roughcast front; steeply pitched thatched roof with
half-hipped end and rendered brick end stack and cross-axial
stack. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3- plus 1-window range. 3-window range
forms symmetrical composition. Entrance has doorcase with
bracketed canopy to 6-panel door (2 panels glazed); flanking
windows have timber lintels over 3-light small-paned
casements; similar first-floor windows have 2-light
small-paned casements.
Single-window range has wide C20 garage entrance; first floor
has window with timber lintel over 3-light small-paned
casement. Right return has half-hipped rear wing with exposed
stone and varied fenestration with plaster surrounds to C20
casements; brick addition to end; rear has single-storey wing
and C20 2-storey flat-roofed addition.
