GV II
House. C17 with C15 cruck truss and extensive late C20
restoration. Front of red brick laid to stretcher bond; left
end wall of English bond. Gabled roof with renewed tiles.
L-plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Entrance to left has
half-glazed door with gabled canopy. Ground floor has windows
with timber lintels over C20 2- and 3-light casements; first
floor has 2-light casements to centre and left, and further
window to right. Left return has C20 window to each floor.
Earlier rear wing of single-storey with attic; renewed square
framing; paired 2-light casements to ground floor and 2 gabled
half-dormers with 2-light casements.
INTERIOR: some original timber-framing and chamfered beams;
full cruck truss to right end, c1430. Mostly rebuilt c1990.
