House. c1700 with later additions and alterations including
C20 extension to right. Timber-framing fronted in painted
plaster with thatched roof and plain-tile roof to extension,
pinkish-brown brick stack. Single unit plan.
EXTERIOR: main range of 2 storeys, 2 window range. First floor
has 2 C20 windows with chamfered jambs and sills. Ground floor
has entrance to left with plank door in moulded wooden frame
with timber lintel, under thatched porch. Otherwise ground
floor has 12-pane casement under timber lintel and C20 window,
both with chamfered jambs and sills.
Small timber-framing to gable ends, fire window to right gable
and also to stack. Steeply-pitched gabled roof. Large
projecting right end stack with cornice, the upper part
rebuilt.
INTERIOR: to front room an inglenook fireplace with bressumer
beam, exposed beam and rafters.
