House, now 2 houses. C17 with later alterations, restorations
and additions including range to rear left mid C19. Small
timber-framing with reddish-brown brick infill, painted to
right, on stone plinth and with renewed tile roof. 3-unit
plan, arranged 1:2.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attics, 2-window range. Chamfered
plinth. Off-centre entrance to left has a plank door in gabled
rustic porch with lattice-work balustrade, bargeboards and
finial, and with seats within. Further entrance to left
return, a plank door. Casement windows throughout.
Gabled roof. 2 attic dormers have decorative bargeboards and
finials. Renewed diamond left end stack, stepped ridge stack,
further pair of diamond stacks to rear range.
INTERIOR: has chamfered beams to ground floor, to right an
inglenook fireplace with bressumer beam.
Forms a group with Church of St Michael and All Angels (qv).
