3 cottages. C17 in 2 stages of build, with remodelling 1970s
and extensions to rear. Small timber-framing with arched
braces, renewed pinkish-brown brick nogging and renewed
plain-tile roof.
3-unit plan comprising probable former 2-cell lobby-entrance
plan to right with single cell addition to left.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic, 3-window range. Ground
floor entrances to left, off-centre left, and right return
have C20 part-glazed plank doors. Renewed C20 wood casement
windows throughout. Gabled roof with 3 raking dormers. Massive
left stack and off-centre right ridge stack. Right gable end
has timber-framing.
INTERIOR: No.2 has extensive evidence of timber-framing
including close-studding to partition wall; inglenook
fireplace, chamfered beam with ogee stop. Otherwise not
inspected.
