House. C17 with later additions and alterations including
probably C18 former stable range to left and c1980
renovations. Timber-framing to right part with reddish brick
nogging and reddish brick facade to left, and plain-tile roof.
2-bay timber-framed unit with porch, 2-bay extension to left
includes former stables at far left, range to rear at right
angles with further extension to right again.
EXTERIOR: one-and-a-half storeys, 4 upper-floor windows.
Square timber-framing with angle braces, notch for prop to
front. Entrance to porch a plank door. Tripartite casement
windows to ground floor. Attic has gabled dormers with
casements. All windows in wooden frames. Modillion cornice.
Gabled roofs. Ridge and rear stacks.
INTERIOR: has inglenook fireplace to centre left of
timber-framed range with bressumer beam. Further inglenook
fireplace to left extension at rear with bressumer beam.
Extensive exposed square timber-framing to right part
including to partition walls. Chamfered beams. Exposed
rafters.
