II
Cottages. Late C18 with C19 alterations. Small panels of
square timber-framing with brick nogging and plain-tile roofs.
5 bays of box framing with 2-bay brick extensions to left.
EXTERIOR: one storey with attic, 4-window range. Random
casement windows in segmental heads, 4 gabled attic dormers
with 2-light casements. Gabled roof. 2 brick outshuts to rear,
C19 brick ridge stack.
INTERIOR: has timber-framed cross-walls and some stop
chamfered beams. Roof has 3 C17 queen strut trusses and one
C19 king post truss. The southernmost bay contains a stable
and hayloft.
