Barn, now 3 dwellings. C17 with mid C19 and late C20
alterations. Timber-frame with brick infill and C19 brick
range to rear; old tile roof, renewed to Wolds Cottage to
right, with brick ridge and internal stacks. 4-bay structure
with brick rear range forming L-plan; former threshing floor
entrance to right of centre; left end probably altered in C19,
with the addition of 2 chimneys.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 8-window range. 2
entrances have C20 doors and open porches. C20 windows
including 5 gabled dormers. Heavy 3-panel-high square framing.
Left return has half-hipped gable and lateral stack with 2
stop-chamfered shafts; projection to left with exposed truss.
Rear has gabled wing to right end and 4 gabled dormers.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
